Château de la Maltroye - Great Burgundy wines in Chassagne Montrachet

Located in the heart of the village and the Appellation Chassagne Montrachet, Château de la Maltroye is a producer of great Burgundy wines: Chassagne Montrachet, Puligny Montrachet, Batard Montrachet. He is the monopoly owner of the Clos du Château, a reputed first Cru of Chassagne Montrachet.

Mr. Cournut's Chateau de la Maltroye is one of Chassagne's finest wine producers, regularly awarded and awarded for its wines.

Family-owned, Château de la Maltroye has a typical Burgundy roof made of 18th century glazed tiles.  In particular, it has vaulted cellars from the 15th century that have been completely renovated, and which are seriously worth a visit.
The 15-hectare estate produces 60,000 bottles, 60% of which are white and therefore... 40% in red with a majority of first vintages.
